We are pleased to offer a Bespoke Materials service to partners who require custom-made solutions for specific medical device applications.
This option is ideal for OEMs requiring surface treatments that do not fit within our standard antithrombogenic, antimicrobial or hydrophilic clinical areas.
Some customers may be in search of a unique technology that does not yet exist; others might simply feel that a customised coating would suit their needs better than a standard option would.
This service means partners can offer patients innovative and effective solutions to particular clinical challenges. In doing so, it helps partners to grow their businesses and stay ahead of their competition.
Bespoke Materials
The process leverages BioInteractions’ 30-year-plus experience of creating state-of-the-art chemistries for OEMs. From a broad range of biocompatible materials, we can tailor solutions using biocompatible polymers, biodegradable materials, drug delivery systems and biomedical technologies.
This service is separate from (and additional to) our existing Product Pathway Partnership, which offers tooling and assembly, material performance testing, and assistance with gaining regulatory approval once the bespoke material has been created.
